Owls have been expressing emotion using colour like the fauvists, a group of French artists from the early 1900s. These artists were nicknamed ‘wild animals’ for their use of bright, bold colours.
Here we are using paper cut-outs in the style of Matisse. We are experimenting with positive and negative space.
In science, we have been learning about our circulatory systems, what is in our blood and what we need for health.
We explored what we need for a healthy, balanced diet.
We expressed our learning about blood cells through drama, puppet shows and models.
