Pancake Race on Shrove Tuesday

In Squirrel class, we love reading in our themed reading corner.

Our learning was based on woodlands.
At Christmas, our woodland reading corner lit up!

We had lots of fun reading about the outfits of Halibut Jackson.

Halibut's outfit, created from symmetrical tiles.

We had fun testing materials to find out which ones would be waterproof. We didn't want Halibut Jackson to get wet!

We all learned lots of scientific words.

We love growing things in Squirrel class.

Our amaryllis bulb in Autumn term.

Our bulb has really grown. We are very excited!

Our amaryllis looks very different now!

We have enjoyed watching it grow!
We have enjoyed watching it grow!

We have a new themed reading corner. We are learning about toys, so we have an old fashioned toy shop.

We have been learning about toys from the past.

Some grandparents told us about their toys.
We had a chance to look at some old toys.

The squirrels have been writing thank you notes for all of the people who helped our greenhouse dream become a reality.
